OUR MISSION...
The Middlesex County College Foundation was chartered in 1966 to provide educational opportunities for qualified students and those requiring financial assistance to attend Middlesex County College (MCC). This mission,  “helping students open doors to their future with financial aid, scholarships, and educational resources,.” remains unchanged today. By consistently growing financial aid and scholarships and raising funds for select College programs, the Middlesex County College Foundation helps students, faculty and the Middlesex County community realize academic and career goals.

OUR VISION…
Inspire the community to invest in the academic and career dreams of our students, empowering them to enhance community leadership and prosperity.

MCCF - A whole lot of changes have been going on during July..

But...we're still the same!

In July, Middlesex County College Foundation moved from Center IV to its new location on campus at 111 Hof Road; however, the Foundation has the same mailing address and phone numbers.  The Foundation Board and staff are grateful to Middlesex County College for updating this new and larger home for the Foundation to continue to achieve its mission and goals.  Please watch this site for an upcoming Open House announcement so we can show off our new offices and expanded space!

In addition to moving this summer, Michael David-Wilson took a new position in North Carolina.  His official last day as Executive Director of the Foundation was July 15, 2010.  Mike and his wife, Dottie, enjoyed a farewell party in their honor at the Corral Restaurant that was attended by Foundation Board members, staff and college administrators.  Mike left on a high note that ended his MCCF successful seven year career with fulfillment of a $1 million gift and the achievement of a $500,000 challenge match.  We all wish Mike well in his new position as President and CEO of Brunswick Senior Resources in Bolivia, North Carolina.

Rose Cofone is now the Acting Executive Director of MCCF.  Rose has been with the Foundation for two years and served in the position of Associate Executive Director.  Six weeks after arriving at Middlesex County College Foundation, Rose took over the Executive Director responsibilities during Mike's three month absence due to back surgery, so she is familiar with the position.  She is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have with regard to the Foundation.  Please feel free to contact her at 732.906.2564.

A Grand Gift and Challenge from Willard T. C. Johnson Foundation Achieved Through Support of Dedicated Foundation Donors

The Foundation is very pleased to report that the 2010 fiscal year turned out to be a successful year thanks to the commitment of a grand gift from the Willard T. C. Johnson Foundation and the dedication and generosity of so many loyal donors.  As many of you already know, in December 2009, the Foundation received a special $1 million gift from the Willard T. C. Johnson Foundation that was structured in two parts:  an outright $500,000 gift and a challenge grant pledge that would match dollar for dollar all gifts and pledges up to a total of $500,000 for scholarship support that the Foundation received by the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2010).  The Foundation Board and staff are grateful to the Willard T. C. Johnson Foundation for their special gift and the generous challenge grant, and we are equally grateful for the numerous dedicated donors who proved their continued commitment to the mission of the Foundation and rose to this challenge by presenting their support in annual and endowed scholarship gifts and pledges.  The goal was fulfilled by June 30, 2010.  The assistance raised through this challenge provides the Foundation with the opportunity to offer greatly needed scholarships and financial support to a growing number of MCC students to help them achieve their educational and career goals.

Watch for information regarding a special recognition of the Willard T. C. Johnson Foundation and our loyal donors who helped the Foundation to realize the matching challenge goal.
